Project Overview
What is the project about?
​The goal of this project was to create a series of posters regarding a piece of technology. I chose to do speakers since they are in so many pieces of technology that people don't even think about. Dividing the speakers into five (5) categories was easy since they are so widespread. These categories were: original intents, entertainment, military, alarms, and safety.

Concept Behind the Design
I was inspired by SoundCloud and how it uses sound waves in it's logo. There are pictures in the sound wave itself that show off where the speaker is used. There is also a background picture that ends in the middle of the sound wave for an extra use of the speaker. It also helps the viewer find the middle of the sound wave, so the eye doesn't get tired of trying to find some sort of symmetry with the sound wave. Finally, the background of everything has a filter that also mimics sound waves to tie everything together.
